Looking back to 2001, after the upheaval of MG Rover's previous ownership, It was a really interesting time and being free of 'large company influence' and rigid hierarchical structures, we were able to do things in a much quicker manner.

As it was just over 12 months from when we went our own way, that the ZED cars were unveiled.

At the time we thought: 'we've got something here, and maybe just maybe..."

Who would have thought the ZED cars would become modern classics.”
